So I’m starting work on a new novel (I know…), and again I’m starting to realise how much graphs and tables can benefit a writer.
I recently talked about creating Character Matrix, but now I’ve realised that other graphs and tables help with the writing process.
It could be anything from the writing process, such as characters, evaluating which narrative to use… And for graphs, analysing average word counts and how long it takes to finish a chapter can lead to a lot of ideas about what you write and how you write (with graphs supporting the latter more).
Does anybody else use Excel to record and calculate their word count information? Or do you use tables as well? Comment below!
