So, it is the last week of the Discussions, as promised, it is a grand finale… So, what is it?
Writer’s Block: The Supposed “Cures”
This one is mostly based on your input, as we all have our own ways of combatting the dreaded Writer’s Block. So comment below with your “cures”, and share your views on other. In the mean time, here are some I’ve stumbled upon and these are my opinions.
Go for a walk:
I like this idea. Going outside gives you more experiences, and you should end up being inspired at the end.
Write anything:
A bit of a controversial “cure”, if you mean writing stuff like letters or notes then that is fine, as it is not creative writing, but yet again, it’s contradictory to the whole point of “writer’s block” – you can’t write!
Stop Writing/Take a Break:
I can see someone liking this idea, but I’m considering the fact that a writer is someone that writes all the time, and stopping writing may be a problem on that front.
Any that you could add? Comment below!

I go and google cute or wacky or strange pictures, one or two always spark ideas for a story. It works for me every time!
That’s a great idea! I know a lot of people that do that for writing workshops. It’s great! Great tip, thanks for sharing!
you’re welcome
I watch a TV show or movie related to my genre. The ideas come and I get inspired to start writing again.
That’s a good idea…I find that a good drama often helps to deal with writer’s block. Thanks for sharing!
Lol at the second tip. But the third one is the one I use when I have a writer’s block. And what I tell others when they absolutely have no idea what to write. I suppose I also start reading more and watching more dramas as well as looking for anything that’s inspirational, that also helps with my writer’s blocks.
Thanks for sharing! Glad you found them interesting!
