New Year, the slate is wiped clean,
Starting over, you know what I mean.
The traditional resolutions, but never achieved,
But when the New Year comes, mistakes are relieved.
The refusal of chocolate, but you ate that cake,
Do not fret, another mistake.
Start over, but this time with some fruit.
The same benefits, and it’s good for you.
That 10 pounds you were supposed to shred,
But instead you chose to lay in bed.
Start over, you’ve still got time.
Why not go for a walk in the countryside?
The start of a new blogging schedule,
Which you didn’t stick to – nor blog at all.
Start over, let’s not make a scene,
Instead, have you heard of Post a Day 2013?
Forget New Year, to us it’s New Day,
Another chance to get the resolutions out of the way.
Start over, just take it slow,
Because you’ve got all the time in the world…
