So, it is now 2013. But what songs are my new 5 songs of 2013?
1. In The End – Linkin Park: I heard this on the radio late last year, and I loved the way “In the end, it doesn’t even matter” was sung. Rock, I know, and maybe not released recently, but a good song.
2. Panic Station – Muse: I love the offbeat in the song, The 2nd Law still looks like a great album.
3. Professional Griefers – Deadmau5: To be honest, this is the first time I have listened fully to a Deadmau5 song. In the past I had heard of him, but was not too keen on his music. But this song is perfect with the almost electro-mixed-with-funk entrance into the song.
4. Feel Again & Dog Days – Mike Tompkins – OneRepublic Mashup
And this week’s funny/inspirational music video is…
5. Norfolk Style: Another Gangnam Style parody, I know… (Maybe I should stop doing that soon) But I found this one funny, do you?
Liam

As to no.5, no I don’t like the damn song! I come from Norfolk, and it’s a bad representation of our ilk, we already get enough stick for being country bumkins, and driving tractors, which if people had any sense would know that particular reference is aimed at the folks from the South West. And they don’t come across like that, either.
Great post by the way.
I’ll leave now. :/
Sorry for that rant, it wasn’t directed at you, honestly.
Oh dear… Well, from what I’ve heard, the guy that filmed it done it to challenge the Norfolk stereotype, and said it wasn’t to cause offence, it was “just a bit of fun”.
That’s OK… Thanks!
